CAPS for Intermediate Phase
The National Curriculum Statement Grades R-12 (NCS) provides policy on curriculum and assessment across all grades in South Africa’s schooling system. With the aim of improving curriculum implementation, amendments to the National Curriculum Statement were made in January 2012. This led to the development of a comprehensive Curriculum and Assessment Policy document for each subject, replacing previous Subject Statements, Learning Programme Guidelines, and Subject Assessment Guidelines for Grades R-12.
