CAPS for Further Education and Training (FET) Phase
The National Curriculum Statement Grades R-12 (NCS) provides the policy for curriculum and assessment in the South African education system. In 2012, the National Curriculum Statement was revised, and a comprehensive Curriculum and Assessment Policy document was developed for each subject to replace the previous Subject Statements, Learning Programme Guidelines, and Subject Assessment Guidelines for Grades R-12.

The curriculum is designed to offer a wide range of subjects that allow learners to specialize based on their interests and career aspirations.
