CAPS for Senior Phase
The National Curriculum Statement Grades R-12 (NCS) establishes the policy for curriculum and assessment in the South African schooling system. To ensure more effective implementation, the National Curriculum Statement was amended, with the changes taking effect in January 2012. As part of these changes, a single comprehensive Curriculum and Assessment Policy document was created for each subject to replace the previous Subject Statements, Learning Programme Guidelines, and Subject Assessment Guidelines for Grades R-12.
